Fair Trade

Fair Trade was inspired by contemporary artists whose performance-based practices infuse artistic production with community organizing. Interested in promoting creativity to a broader audience and building energetic relationships through cultural exchange, the projects are event-oriented, performative, and either participatory in nature or geared toward activating underutilized space. Each project is planned to occur at a site appropriate to the artist's proposals throughout Los Angeles.
